Automatic Minecraft server restart and schedules
Updated 25-10-2026
Schedules restart the server at night, save the world or stop the server at a chosen time for you. The node runs them itself, even when nobody is signed in to the panel.
Ready ideas
Panel → Servers → server → Schedules has ready schedules you add with one click:
- Nightly restart: every day at 4:00, with warnings in the chat 5 and 1 minute before.
- World save: every night at 3:50 the
save-allcommand. - Off at night: the server stops at 2:00. Add a second schedule to start it in the morning.
Your own schedule
- Click Add a schedule.
- Choose the kind: Restart, Commands, Start or Stop.
- Choose the days (every day, weekdays, weekends or chosen days) and the time.
- For a restart set the chat warnings, for commands enter the console commands.
Times are in the server's time zone. You change it in Server settings → General. The number of schedules depends on the plan.
Why restart daily
A server running for days without a break uses more memory and slows down over time, especially with mods. A nightly restart, when few people play, keeps it in good shape.
Command ideas

whitelist onA schedule can have several commands at once, e.g. an announcement in the chat and a world save.
A schedule does not replace backups. You turn on automatic backups in the Backups tab.
