Team: access for other people

You can invite others to manage your server, e.g. the admins of your community. Everyone logs in with their own EpicHost account, and you decide what they may do.

Inviting

1. Panel → Servers → server → Users → Invite.
2. Enter the person's e-mail address and tick the permissions, e.g. console, power, files, backups, add-ons, settings.
3. The person gets the invitation by e-mail and accepts it in their panel. Their account needs a confirmed e-mail address.

Access can be permanent or for a limited time, e.g. 24 hours for someone who is only helping you out.

Changing and taking away access

You change a team member's permissions in the same tab and remove people from the server there. A member can also leave the server themselves.

What a member cannot do

Deleting the server, payments and managing the team stay with the owner. Every change a team member makes is saved in the Event log, with who made it.

Security

• Give people only the permissions they need.
• File access (file manager, SFTP) shows everything on the server, including passwords in plugin configuration.
• Turn on two-factor authentication for your account: Your profile → Two-factor authentication.
